Home for the Holidays

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of decorating my client’s house for Christmas.  This was such an enjoyable project.  My inspiration began when I ran across this insanely amazing 5″ velvet ribbon that was made in France in 1910.  I immediately envisioned gorgeous wreaths hanging from this extravagant ribbon on my client’s beautiful oversized windows.  Another one of my inspirations came from my favorite store in Greenville, We Took To The Woods.  I bought beautiful antique feeding buckets and thought it would look charming to do some small trees in them for the foyer.  I also found a gorgeous table linen while I was there.  It’s a Belgian linen tartan print and it looked perfect in my clients foyer below the charming Christmas trees.  Here are a couple of pictures taken from my phone.
